Project ALIVE: Arkansas PH Trainings

APRIL logo: Association for Rural Independent Living, with a blue star; and the Project ALIVE logo. The word ALIVE features a band aid, folded in the shape of the "V" of the word ALIVE, which replaces the letter V. Below the typography are 5 symbols against blue squares: the "wheelchair" icon; an icon of a person with a white cane; an ear with a dotted line through it, for hearing assistance; two hands forming the ASL sign for "interpretation"; and a silhouette of a person's head. Below the symbols is the typography: "Accessible Life-saving Integrated Vaccine Equity"

Project ALIVE (Accessible Life-saving Integrated Vaccine Equity) is a short-term focused effort to remove barriers to COVID-19 vaccinations for people with disabilities living in the rural areas of Missouri, Arkansas, and Montana. Rooted in the values of self-determination and self-direction, the project does not seek to persuade or convince, but will serve as a resource for those who want the vaccine and those seeking further information in order to make an informed decision.
