Anna is a wheelchair user and activist whose work focuses on the implementation gap of disability laws across the world, where progressive legal standards rarely reflect the realities in which disabled people live. Anna is currently studying for a Master’s degree at The London School of Economics and Political Science as a Truman and Marshall Scholar. She formerly served the Washington, DC government as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner while completing her undergraduate degree in Regional and Comparative Studies at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
In the past, she has worked with The Partnership for Inclusive Disaster Strategies on disability-inclusive pandemic relief policies and helping to expand The Partnership's presence in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her advocacy efforts have been featured in outlets including the Washington Post, Forbes, Vogue, and others.
