Nationwide Emergency Alert TEST
TEST messages will be sent to all cell phones, TVs, and radios.

FEMA, in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA).
The purpose of today's test is to ensure that the systems continue to be an effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level.
You do not need to do anything or opt-in to receive the alert, and you do not need to take any action after receiving the alert.
What to expect:
- You will receive a notification and message on active cell phones, TVs, and radios.
- The message will read “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”
- All wireless phones should receive the message only once.
- The notification and message on TVs and radios is scheduled to last approximately one minute.
